Some tournaments are scheduled meaning that all tournament players logon and play at the same designated time. You won’t waste any time waiting for a tournament to begin but you may have to come back later if no tournaments are scheduled too begin when you arrive.

Sit & Go tournaments begin whenever all seats at the table are taken. The tournament schedule in the casino lobby will show tables that are waiting for enough players to begin so just join one of those and wait with the other players for a few minutes until the game begins.
