The players' guide to online casinos

Live Dealer Games

All live dealer casinos offer Blackjack. Most also offer Roulette. Many include Baccarat. Table limits very by casino but most offer both regular and high limit tables, especially for Baccarat.

Live Dealer Blackjack

The best part about playing Blackjack at a live dealer casino instead of a regular online casino is that you can actually SEE the cards being dealt rather than having to trust that a random number generator is dealing the cards fairly. In some casinos you even watch as the cards are shuffled and cut!

Most live dealer casinos play a standard version of this game. Dealers stand on 17 and rules for Doubling and Splitting are the same as anywhere else.

At live dealer casinos with Vuetec games you don’t choose whether to Hit or Stand. The computer makes that choice according to standard game strategy. You do get the option to continue playing or to take the Early Surrender option. If you doubt that your hand will win, you can choose this option and loose just half of your wager instead of losing the whole bet.

Some live dealer casinos offer a special 300:1 side bet on whether either the Player or the Dealer will get a perfect pair.

Live Dealer Roulette

When you play Roulette at a live dealer casino you get to watch and hear an actual ball spinning in an actual Roulette wheel rather than watching a computer animation of the same thing. At some casinos, the camera automatically zooms in on the wheel as it spins and pans out while you and the other players are placing bets.

Some live dealer casinos also offer a version of Roulette that includes Voisins, Tier and Orphelins section bets."Voisins" is the section seventeen number section on the wheel from 22 to 25 and is popular in Eastern Europe, especially Czech Republic. The "Tier" is the third of the whel between 27 and 33 and is very popular in Britain.  Orphelins are the numbers not in the Tier or Voisins sections.

Live Dealer Bacarrat

Baccarat is a very simple game that is often played for quite high stakes. Baccarat isn’t offered at all live dealer casinos but where it is it often has much higher table limits than the other games available.
